Qvo6 is a search engine malicious script that attacks your system’s web browser and redirects all searches to its own recommended search results instead of Google search results. This type of malware is not harmful per se, but it can be annoying sometimes or even lead you to a potential virus attacks by suggesting websites containing viruses, spyware or malwares as results.

Sometime ago on Cyracksinternetbiz.com, i had written a post on How to remove short-cut viruses from your SD Card. But today, i am going to tell youhow to remove Qvo6 malware from your system browser if your have been hijacked by this malicious script.

Qvo6 is distributed via unfair techniques and it has been known as a browser hijacker script which doesn't ask for permission before getting into your system. It poses a malicious threat to your system in the long run so I simply suggest you remove it immediately when you find out your browser is hijacked by this Qvo6.

So How Do I Know When My System Is Attacked By Qvo6 Malicious Script.

When you launch your browser, instead of the homepage of your browser to display, the Qvo6.com will display as homepage.

The UI looks like a search engine but you cannot rely on their results because they can easily return forged search results or redirect you to another site that promotes malicious programs. Your system get's infected by this malware when you download and install some free software’s on your computer from the internet.

Avoid this malware now and use other more reputable search engines when surfing the internet.

So How Do I Remove Qvo6 Search From My Computer.

If eventually you are infected by this malicious script, then follow one of these steps below to remove it completely.

Look for Qvo6, Desktop 365 in your installed program list and uninstall them completely.
To do this, Click the Start Button if you are using Windows OS, click Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall Programs then remove them.

3. You can also use an up-to-date Anti-spyware to scan your computer system for any available malware and remove it. Search for Adware Remover Tool, a freeware utility tool specially designed for Adware Removal. This tool will remove adware from your browser quickly.

Delete the address from http://www.qvo6.com... to the end and leave the rest.
Then click on apply. That's all

Now go to your browser settings and set www.google.com or any web address you want as your home page. This step works for Internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome Browsers.

5. Remove Qvo6 From Your Registry.
Navigate to your system registry editor by clicking on Start and Type Run then hit enter. Type "REGEDIT" in the Run box and hit enter again.

Click on Edit menu, and then click on Find
Type in the find box this name Qvo6 and click on Find next. Then the registry will appear with the Qvo6 string highlighted. Right click on it and select delete or change Qvo6 to Google.com. Do the same to all the string found in the registry.
