Price of Blackberry’s Android Powered ‘Priv’ Smartphone with Keypads

Some few months ago, we heard reports over the internet that Blackberry will be coming up with a new smartphone that runs on Android OS. According to Digitalrends.com, the Blackberry Priv will have a physically attached keyboard and will be a bit thinner than the Samsung's Galaxy Note 5.

As per the cost of the Blackberry Priv, according to Chinese source Weibo.cn who revealed that the Blackberry smartphone will cost around RMB 3999 or $630 USD which if converted to Naira, will amount to around N126,000. For Just a Phone? ***coughs***


Considering the price tag of Blackberry Passport when it was newly launched and how much it currently sells at, Priv, if launched with the $630 price tag, it will be more affordable despite having 4K video recording and running on a 64bit processor. 

Last week, Blackberry CEO, John Chen, said at Code/Mobile conference that the blackberry priv device will come with a high-end price tag and measures will be put in place to make the device affordable to get either by installments or something else.

Information in regards availability of the Blackberry priv device hasn't been revealed yet but reports has it that, the device is expected to be launch before the end of the year. So what do you say about this Blackberry device? Cool or Not?
